The power of a hands-free device should not be underestimated; Nomadeec is completely hands-free in its holographic interface, allowing medical professionals to use their hands to treat patients rather than taking up valuable time finding information on those patients.
The Nomadeec device itself fits in its own very compact bag, and it is remarkably light for the capabilities it carries. The device can connect to a wide variety of different medical devices, including a non-invasive blood pressure monitor, a pulse oximeter, ECG, glucometer, thermometer, stethoscope, ultrasound, spirometer and many more.
Enhancing that convenience is the fact that Nomadeec is simply a mobile app, available on Android, Apple and Windows tablets and smartphones, working with the aforementioned Bluetooth medical devices, as well as Patient Care Record.
Four years of research and development brought together several different disciplines, including engineers, physicians, paramedics, user-experience experts and designers to help create the interface, with the goal of making it as intuitive as possible in order to tailor the product to as many professional style as possible.
Nomadeec represents an experimental jump forward in telemedicine, allowing remote communication to professionals on the scene.
Nomadeec hosted a live demonstration at CES 2018 to show off the platform to healthcare practitioners.
